Weekday rides are $40 for the first 5 miles plus $2 for each mile after that. Evenings (before 8 AM or after 4:30 PM) and weekends add 25% (at least $25 per leg). Round trips are priced as two one-way legs. Need the driver to stay and wait? Ask when you book and we'll quote it.

Door-to-door
IncludedOur driver meets the rider at the front door, offers a steadying arm to and from the vehicle, helps with the seatbelt and bags, and walks them to the entrance at the destination.

We're not wheelchair accessible at this time. Riders need to be able to walk to the vehicle and sit in a standard car seat. Not sure? Call us — we're happy to talk it through or point you to someone who can help.

Good to know
- Private pay only. We don't currently bill insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
- Free cancellation with 24+ hours' notice.
- We're on time, and we ask riders to be ready too: the driver waits up to 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup, then the ride is cancelled as a no-show.
- Payment is due at or before the time of the ride, or by the date on your invoice.
- Non-emergency transportation only. In an emergency, call 911.

How do you figure out the distance?
We use the driving distance from the pickup address to the destination. When you request a ride, we check the route and confirm your exact price before booking.
Why do evenings and weekends cost more?
Rides outside our weekday hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) require scheduling a driver outside regular hours. The add-on is simple — 25% of the weekday rate, at least $25 per leg — and it never stacks.
Can the driver stay and wait during the appointment?
Yes, on request. Let us know when you book and we’ll quote the waiting time up front — or we can schedule a set return pickup instead.
Can a family member ride along?
Yes — a family member or caregiver is welcome to come along. Let us know when you book so we can plan seating.
Do you take wheelchairs?
Not at this time. Riders need to be able to walk to the vehicle (with a cane or walker is fine) and sit in a standard car seat. Call us if you're unsure.
Do you bill insurance or Medicaid?
Not currently. DH&B is private pay, so there are no approvals or paperwork — just a clear, upfront price.
How does the recurring discount work?
Rides on a regular weekly schedule (for example, dialysis three times a week) are 10% off every ride for as long as the plan continues.
How does the $20 referral credit work?
When a family you referred completes their first paid ride, we apply a $20 credit to your next ride. They just need to mention your name when they book.
