Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website and ride with DH&B.

Effective date: September 24, 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DH&B Transportation LLC ("DH&B," "we," "us," or "our") website and our transportation services. By requesting, booking, or riding with DH&B, or by booking a ride on someone else's behalf, you agree to these Terms. If you book for another person (for example, a parent, client, or resident), you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that you will share these Terms with the rider.

2. Our Services

DH&B provides private, non-emergency transportation for seniors and adults in Cobb County & surrounding areas, including rides to medical appointments, dialysis and recurring treatments, therapy, adult day programs, and senior living communities.

  • DH&B is NOT an ambulance or emergency medical service. If you or the rider are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
  • Our drivers are not medical professionals and do not provide medical care, administer medication, or perform medical procedures.
  • Door-to-door assistance means helping the rider between the vehicle and the entrance of the pickup or destination. It does not include carrying riders, lifting riders, or assisting inside a residence or facility beyond the entrance unless we agree to it in advance.
  • Service is available in the areas listed on our website. Rides outside those areas may be offered at our discretion.

3. Requesting and Confirming Rides

Submitting a ride request through our website, by phone, or by email is a request only. A ride is booked only after DH&B confirms it with you. We may decline a request if we cannot safely or reliably provide the ride.

When you book, you agree to give us accurate and complete information, including pickup and destination addresses, appointment times, and the rider's mobility or assistance needs (for example, use of a walker, cane, or wheelchair, oxygen, or the need for a companion). If a rider's needs were not disclosed and we cannot safely accommodate them at pickup, we may be unable to complete the ride, and cancellation charges may apply. We are not currently wheelchair accessible: riders must be able to walk to the vehicle (with or without a cane or walker) and sit in a standard vehicle seat.

Please schedule pickups with enough time to arrive for check-in. Pickup times are estimates. We work hard to be on time, but traffic, weather, road conditions, and other events outside our control can cause delays, and we are not responsible for missed appointments or other consequences caused by those delays.

4. Rates and Payment

Our services are currently private-pay. Rates are quoted when you book and may depend on distance, time of day, day of the week, level of assistance, and whether the ride is one-time or recurring. Weekday service hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; rides before 8:00 AM or after 4:30 PM on weekdays, or on Saturday or Sunday, include an after-hours/weekend charge equal to 25% of the weekday rate (at least $25 per one-way leg), rounded to the nearest dollar; this charge never stacks. Extra stops along the way are $15 each. Waiting at the destination (stay-and-wait) is available on request and is quoted in advance. Rides on a regular weekly schedule receive a 10% discount while the schedule continues. Trips of 61 miles or more, one-way or round trip, are custom quoted. Current rates are listed on our Pricing page. Prices shown on our website are estimates; the price we confirm with you when the ride is booked is the price you pay. Referral credit: when a new rider who names you as their referrer completes their first paid ride, we will apply a one-time $20 credit to your next ride. Referral credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due at or before the time of service, or by the due date shown on your invoice.

Payments made online are processed by a third-party payment processor. DH&B does not store full card numbers. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for completed rides and any late-cancellation or no-show fees described below.

Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, DH&B does not currently bill Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance, and we do not guarantee that any insurer will reimburse you for our services.

5. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Wait Time

  • You may cancel or reschedule at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled pickup time. Call (720) 329-0096 or email DHandBinfo@gmail.com.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup may be charged a late-cancellation fee of up to the full quoted fare.
  • We pride ourselves on being on time and respecting every rider's scheduled time. Riders should be ready at the scheduled pickup time. Our driver will wait up to 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
  • If the rider is not ready at the pickup location within 10 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, the ride will be cancelled and treated as a no-show. No-shows may be charged up to the full quoted fare.
  • We do not offer extended or paid wait time at pickup. If a rider needs a later pickup, please call us as early as possible to reschedule.
  • For recurring ride plans, please notify us of changes at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in changes to or cancellation of the plan.
  • We may cancel or reschedule a ride because of severe weather, unsafe road conditions, vehicle problems, or other circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel, you will not be charged for that ride.

6. Rider Safety and Conduct

To keep everyone safe, riders and companions agree to:

  • Wear a seatbelt at all times while the vehicle is moving;
  • Follow the driver's reasonable safety instructions;
  • Not smoke, vape, or use alcohol or illegal drugs in the vehicle;
  • Not bring weapons, hazardous materials, or illegal items into the vehicle;
  • Treat drivers and other passengers with respect; abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior may lead to the ride being ended and future service being refused.

Service animals are welcome as required by law. Other pets may be allowed only if agreed in advance. A companion or caregiver may ride with the rider if space allows and it was arranged at booking. Riders who require continuous supervision should be accompanied by a caregiver.

Riders are responsible for their personal belongings. We will make reasonable efforts to return items left in our vehicles but are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

7. Family and Caregiver Updates

If requested by the rider or the person who booked, we may share ride status updates (such as pickup and drop-off times) with family members, caregivers, or facility staff that you designate. You can change or stop these updates at any time by contacting us.

8. Text Message (SMS) Terms

If you provide a mobile number and agree to receive text messages, DH&B may send you texts related to your transportation, such as ride confirmations, pickup reminders, driver arrival and status updates, family/caregiver ride updates you have requested, scheduling changes, and customer-care replies. We do not send marketing text messages unless you separately agree to receive them.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book rides by phone or email without agreeing to texts.
  • Message frequency varies based on your rides and requests.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You may also opt out by telling us in any reasonable way, such as by calling us, emailing us, or replying "cancel," "quit," or "unsubscribe." We will honor opt-out requests promptly and within the time required by law. After you opt out, we may send one final message confirming it.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (720) 329-0096 or DHandBinfo@gmail.com.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your mobile number and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Referral Partners

Healthcare providers, senior-care organizations, and other professionals who refer clients to DH&B remain responsible for obtaining any consent or authorization required to share a client's information with us. Each ride for a referred client is subject to these Terms. Nothing on our website creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship, and any referral arrangement must be agreed in writing.

10. Use of Our Website

You agree not to misuse our website, including by submitting false information, attempting to access systems without permission, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. Website content, including our name, logo, text, and images, belongs to DH&B or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

Information on our website is for general informational purposes and may change without notice.

11. Disclaimers

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DH&B WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR MISSED APPOINTMENTS, LOST TIME, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE OR SERVICES. EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, AND EXCEPT FOR CLAIMS FOR BODILY INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO A RIDE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT RIDE.

This section does not limit liability for our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under Georgia law.

13. Your Responsibilities

You agree to be responsible for, and to reimburse DH&B for reasonable costs arising from, any inaccurate information you provide, damage to our vehicles caused intentionally or through misconduct by you or the rider, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by DH&B.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any legal action relating to these Terms or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply to rides booked after the updated Terms are posted.
