Privacy Policy

How DH&B collects, uses, and protects your information.

Effective date: September 24, 2026

Our Commitment

DH&B Transportation LLC ("DH&B," "we," "us") understands that the information you share with us, including details about a rider's health, mobility, and appointments, is personal. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the transportation services we provide.

Information We Collect

Information you give us, for example when you request a ride, become a referral partner, call, text, or email us:

  • Contact details: name, phone number, email address, and the name and contact details of family members or caregivers you designate;
  • Ride details: pickup and destination addresses, dates and times, type of appointment or destination (for example, a dialysis center or doctor's office), and whether rides are one-time or recurring;
  • Mobility and assistance information: needs such as use of a wheelchair, walker, or oxygen, or the need for a companion, and any notes you choose to share so we can transport the rider safely;
  • Referral partner information: organization name, contact name, title, organization type, and service area;
  • Payment information: billing details handled by our third-party payment processor (we do not store full card numbers);
  • Communications: messages, call notes, and feedback you send us.

Information collected automatically when you visit our website:

  • Device and usage data such as browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and approximate location based on IP address;
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure site performance, and protect forms from spam and abuse (for example, a security check on our forms). You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie notice and your browser settings.

We ask that you share only the health-related information needed to arrange safe transportation. Please do not send detailed medical records.

How We Use Information

  • To schedule, confirm, provide, and follow up on rides, including recurring ride plans;
  • To transport riders safely and plan for mobility and assistance needs;
  • To send ride confirmations, reminders, driver updates, and family/caregiver updates you request, by phone, email, or text;
  • To respond to questions and referral partner inquiries;
  • To process payments, send invoices, and keep business and tax records;
  • To maintain, secure, and improve our website and services, and to prevent fraud and misuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:

  • With our drivers and staff who need it to provide your ride;
  • With family members, caregivers, facility staff, or referring professionals you have authorized or who arranged the ride on the rider's behalf;
  • With service providers who help us operate, such as our website and customer-management platform, email and text-messaging providers, and payment processors, who may use the information only to provide services to us;
  • When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a rider, driver, or the public;
  • In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of our business, subject to this Policy.

Text messaging: Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with providers that help us deliver messages (such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers).

Health Information and HIPAA

DH&B currently provides private-pay transportation and does not bill health insurance. In this role, we are generally not a HIPAA "covered entity." Even so, we treat mobility and health-related information as sensitive: we limit it to what is needed for safe transportation, restrict access to those who need it, and do not use it for marketing.

If DH&B provides services to or on behalf of a healthcare provider or health plan that requires a Business Associate Agreement, we will handle information received under that arrangement as required by HIPAA and that agreement. If we begin billing health insurance or government programs, we will update this Policy and provide any notices required by law.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, secure (encrypted) connections on our website, and limiting access to staff and drivers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Georgia law and other applicable law.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business, tax, and safety records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

Your Choices and Requests

  • Access, correction, or deletion: You may ask to see, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us at DHandBinfo@gmail.com or (720) 329-0096. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to be kept for legal or record-keeping reasons.
  • Text messages: Reply STOP to opt out, or tell us in any reasonable way. Reply HELP for help. See the Text Message Terms in our Terms of Service.
  • Emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email. We will still send messages needed to provide your rides.
  • Family/caregiver updates: You can change or stop these at any time.
  • Cookies: Manage non-essential cookies with our cookie notice and your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Transportation for a minor must be arranged by a parent or legal guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
